Simply Fall!

While enjoying the past weekend with grand babies I got a little crafting in. One of the things we all enjoy for Fall are the wonderful pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and prints. I found some favorite fabric pieces I had stuck back especially for this and made them with a little help from my grand daughter, Sassy. She loved helping stuff our pumpkins (loves the fluffy fiberfil) and was so excited. Here are pics of our fun creations....

And the others........

Another fun and simple idea for Fall pumpkins would be a pumpkin bag lamp. Make a large pumpkin and before closing the top place a little sandwich bag of play sand in the bottom, insert a grunged or painted candle lamp and fill with fiberfil, stitch the pumpkin top and close around candle sleeve. Add your favorite leaves, pip berry sprigs, moss, or what ever you like around the top, and don't forget to top the candle with a nice dipped bulb! Whaaaala! A very cute pumpkin bag lamp! Till next time, have fun crafting!
