As promised I'm posting pics of my new stove board! Eeeeek!!! I just LOVE how it turned out! First, I must give credit to my awesome and talented hubby for making it for me. I gave him the measurements, described exactly how I wanted it to look, and the man worked his magic! Thanks babe, you know I love ya!
I'll have to dig out my things I will be using for display on it as these were only for a quick pic. I wanted a black one but that would have been too much. Instead, I did the base coat in black then painted in barn red, sanded, and topped with stain. And those of you who know me KNOW I'M DOING MY HAPPY DANCE right now, LOL! I've waited soooo long for this and finally have one! Yippee! Till next time....have fun crafting!
Hugs, Libby

ReplyDeleteLove it! I've been after my hubby to build me one but we have to wait till we have good weathr so he can get his saws and tools out. He doesn't have a shed built yet where he can work inside so he has to build everything outside and we all know how uncooperative the weather has been lately! Yours looks great! Thanks for sharing pics of it! I'm gonna show hubby right now!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
Thanks so much for your wonderful comments girls!
ReplyDeleteTanya, I had him use some tongue n groove flooring strips for the bottom so your eye is correct and I love the look of it! Share photos of yours when you get it completed on your blog so we can take a peek!
Donna I know exactly what you mean about the weather. Hubs has a tool bldg but both of us hate having to heat it up to go work on something, lol. And I love working outside much better anyway!
